Domestic violence complaints spike as MCO prolonged, says women’s group
REPORTS of domestic violence increased as the movement control order to curb Covid-19 infections continued, the Women’s Aid Organisation said today.
Calls and messages to the organisation’s telephone and messaging services increased by 3.4 times in May, compared to just before the MCO in February. Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription. Sign-up now and enjoy one week free access!
