Mr McGauran said Prime Minister Anthony Albanese hasn’t “put a foot wrong” since coming to power when it comes to China. “The Liberals were damaged severely at the last federal election with a loss of Australian Chinese votes,” he told Sky News Australia.“So, there is a spin-off domestically for the government in their handling of the Chinese re-stabilisation of the relationship.”
