Vergeire also defended the decision of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s decision to tap Rufino for PhilHealth. “PhilHealth is just like any other agency though you just need to have technical know-how, especially finance scheme, actuary, on insurance system but part of the work will also be managerial because you are going to oversee and guide the entire organization on the delivery of the objectives of your mandate,” she added.“We will guide and work together with Mr.
