The average daily number of cases from Jan. 2 to 8 was at 447, the DOH said. It noted that this was nine percent lower than the infections logged from Dec. 26, 2022 to Jan. 1, 2023.A total of 507 patients with severe and critical conditions are still recuperating in hospitals. This figure represents 9.3 percent of the total Covid-19 admissions nationwide, the DOH said.On the other hand, 73.7 million Filipinos have been fully vaccinated against the viral disease.
