These 20 fireworks-related injuries recorded so far were just the same as the cases logged in the same period in 2021, DOH said.There were two cases recorded each in the Ilocos Region, Bicol Region, Western Visayas, Davao Region, and the National Capital Region . Eleven of these cases sustained injuries on the eye, six on the hand, two on the forearm or arm, while one on the back.The fireworks involved were boga, kwitis, whistle bomb, 5-star, judas belt, missile, and pop-up, among others.The DOH said there were no reports of firework ingestions, and stray bullet injuries so far.
