DOH: Mga bata pabakunahi na batok sa pertussis, tipdas

Giawhag sa Department of Health ang mga ginika­nan nga pabakunahan ang ilang mga anak tungod sa kabalaka sa pagsaka sa ihap sa nangamatay tungod sa mga sakit nga mapugngan unta pinaagi sa bakuna, labina sa pertussis o whooping cough ug tipdas.Sa usa ka pamahayag, si Health Secretary Ted Herbosa nii­ngon nga ang mga bakuna aron mapugngan kining pertussis ug tipdas walay bayad kon ma-avail sa local health centers.

Ang pertussis usa ka mananakod kaayo nga bacterial respiratory infection nga maoy hinungdan sa mga simtomas sama sa trangkaso sama sa ordinaryo nga hilanat, ubo ug sip-on.“Ang Pertussis o Whooping Cough ay nagdudulot ng matinis at ipit na paghinga matapos ang pag-ubo. Ang bata ay maaaring makaranas ng apnea o pagtigil sa paghinga, pagkahirap sa paghinga, at pagsusuka,”matod sa DOH.Ang usa ka tawo nga adunay pertussis mahimo’ng makatakod sa 18 pa ka mga indibidwal, lakip ang mga bata.
