DOH logs 2,510 COVID-19 infections from July 3 to 9

A total of 2,510 COVID-19 infections were recorded by the DOH from July 3 to July 9, which is slightly lower than the 2,747 cases recorded the previous week. | zacariansINQ

According to the DOH’s latest data, the 2,510 infections translated to a daily average of 359, nine percent lower than the 3922 from June 26 to July 2.

Forty-four of the infections or 1.76 percent of the total recorded cases, meanwhile, were tagged as critical or severe, with active critical or severe COVID-19 admissions currently at 382.
