Dog rescued after she fell 50 feet down an abandoned well in South Texas

The owner called the Texas Game Warden — the law enforcement arm of the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife — for help. Park officials on Monday posted photos of the rescue on Facebook. It’s unclear when the incident happened. Park officials said it took hundreds of feet of rope, a wire dog kennel, a rigged pulley hoist system and 45 minutes to pull Maria to safety.
