Shyla was rushed to a vet for treatment but her condition was deemed too extreme, and she was put her to sleep to prevent her suffering, the charity said.
RSPCA inspector Karl Marston, who is investigating the incident, said: "Poor Shyla was in an incredibly awful state."He adds: "It’s heartbreaking to think that someone had left her like this for so long to suffer - and then just dumped her in a park scared and alone.
"While sadly nothing more could be done to save her, I am determined to find the person responsible for allowing her to suffer in this state and I am appealing to the public for help.
