While the pup didn’t realize his owners were hundreds of miles away, Jeremy attempted to calm down an upset Dexter via the Ring speaker while he waited to be rescued by hotel staff.
Dexter whined and scratched at the front door as his owner tried to get him to sit and stay via the Ring camera.The beloved pooch was supposed to be staying at the hotel for five days while his owners were away, but apparently he grew too homesick. According to Jeremy, Dexter would have had to scale a 6-foot fence to pull off such an escape, then travel some 2 miles home.“Obviously, he didn’t understand the fact that we were gone, he just thought that we were home.
Yet, the couple wasn’t surprised that Dexter had miraculously found his way home, since he’s a “very smart” pooch.

Dog Dragged Into Water, Eaten by Gator at Florida ParkA dog in Florida was attacked by an alligator, dragged into the water and eaten earlier this month. Wildlife officials say Joshua Wells was playing with his unleashed dog near water at a popular park in Tallahassee on June 6 when the alligator snatched his dog.
