EVENTS in the past 48 hours have shifted the question of adequate numbers to form a government from opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim to the incumbent, Muhyiddin Yassin. The Malaysian Insight understands that Muhyiddin and his Bersatu party are scrambling to shore up the Perikatan Nasional parliamentary majority ahead of the budget session starting November 2.
