DoE okays controversial Penang highway with 56 conditions

THE Department of Environment has approved the 19.5km Pan Island Link 1 project in Penang with 56 conditions, Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said today. He said the approval was given on April 10 and construction of the highway will begin by the middle of next year.
