LOS ANGELES — After seven seasons by Dodgers manager Dave Roberts’ side as his bench coach, Bob Geren will move into a new role on the team’s coaching staff.

The 37-year-old Lehman spent time as a catcher in the Minnesota Twins’ system after a career at Rice University, reaching Triple-A. Originally hired as a video scout, he has been with the Dodgers since 2015. “He was already contributing a ton. So it’s keeping what he has done and been really impactful on and adding more responsibilities.”
