Dodge's new Scat Pack Swingers bring loads of green.
Inspired by the Swinger model of the original muscle car era, these Last Call models embrace Seventies styling.With the era of the current Dodge Challenger and Charger coming to an end, Stellantis has started to roll out a suite of sevento celebrate the long-running muscle-car duo. The third and fourth installments of that project have just arrived, and are known as the Dodge Challenger and Charger Scat Pack Swinger.
This isn’t the first time that the Dodge brand has utilized the Swinger name. Mopar fans will recall that the Dodge Dart Swinger 340 arrived in 1969 as a genuine performance bargain. That car was honorably labeled as part of the original Scat Pack club, thanks in part to its ability to rip off the quarter-mile sprint in the mid-14-second range. The car has also become somewhat notable today due to the options packages that were once available.
