EXCLUSIVE: DoctorStrange 2 writer Michael Waldron talks to us about his Star Wars movie: 'It's great. It's a dream come true. In some ways, it's freeing, because it's not necessarily a sequel to anything.'
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness writer Michael Waldron teases details about the Star Wars movie he's working on. Following Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm in 2012, the studio produced a full slate of new Star Wars films, which concluded in 2019 with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Lucasfilm is currently focusing on live-action Star Wars TV shows for Disney+ , but they still have plans to bring the galaxy far, far away back to the big screen at some point.
SR: I know you can't say anything about that actual project. But what does it mean for you to take that on?
