BRASILIA (Reuters) - Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said on Thursday that social media company Meta's decision to scrap its fact-checking program in the U.S. was 'extremely serious,' and that he would discuss the matter in a meeting with government officials.
KUALA LUMPUR: Senior Political Secretary to the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin , has urged all parties to stop politicising the issue of an additional document regarding Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s purported house arrest.
Shamsul Iskandar said that the matter concerning the additional document should be left to the High Court to evaluate the views of both the government and Najib before deciding the next course of action. "Such discussions lack decorum and respect,” he told reporters after appearing as a guest on an exclusive interview programme broadcast on Bernama Radio on Thursday .
