DNeX announced a net profit of RM9.1 million for Q3’24, marking an improvement from RM5 million in Q2’24. The technology segment led revenue contributions with RM161.5 million, while the energy segment saw a downturn due to lower oil prices. The IT segment showed steady growth.
DNeX reported a non-controlling interest ( net profit ) of RM9.1 million for the third quarter ended September 30, 2024 ( Q3’24 ) on the back of RM263.0 million in revenue. This is an improvement from RM5 million in Q2’24. The technology segment , with RM161.5 million or 61% of total revenue, led the revenue contribution. Energy followed with RM52.4 million (20%) and the IT segment contributed RM49.1 million (19%).
The technology segment saw a 3% increase in revenue driven by higher average selling prices, while the energy segment experienced a downturn due to lower oil prices and reduced lifting volumes. The IT segment maintained steady growth with increased contributions from subsea telco and tech consulting, but this was partially offset by lower trade facilitation revenue
