“Virginia has been at the heart of the battleground,” Harrison said to a crowd of volunteers in Manassas, Virginia. Democrats are looking to regain control of the House of Delegates and maintain their narrow majority in the state Senate. The state -- where abortion is currently legal until about 26 weeks -- remains the last southern state without extensive abortion restrictions.on abortion: a 15-week ban with exceptions.

When asked about Youngkin, Harrison said he is concerned about the policies he says the governor is pushing.
