“Nag-approve na kami ng 100 na recruitment agencies dito at saka sa Saudi Arabia ,” DMW Secretary Susan “Toots” Ople said in an interview with GMA News.Thousands of OFWs, including construction and domestic workers, are expected to be deployed to KSA, Ople added. The DMW announced on Tuesday it is creating a whitelist and blacklist of recruitment agencies after the country decided to reopen the deployment of Filipino workers to KSA.
“‘Yung nabanggit kong whitelisting at blacklisting ng mga recruitment agencies ay itinatalaga na namin para siguradong yung a-apply-an ng mga OFWs natin ay hindi nabibilang sa blacklist at sa halip ay nabibilang sa whitelist ,” DMW Undersecretary Hans Leo Cacdac said during a public briefing on Tuesday.
