DJI has quietly introduced a new drone for the US market, which is currently available exclusively via Amazon. The device, known as the DJI Mini 4K, appears
to be an updated version of the Mini 2 SE that was released locally back in February of last year, with the only difference being its primary camera, which can now record up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second .
According to its listing on Amazon, other specifications of the newer drone remain unchanged from the 2023 model. To top it off, the Mini 4K also sports the same design as the Mini 2 SE, featuring foldable quad rotors and a three-axis gimbal camera mount. Similarly, it is also touted to weigh at only 248 grams.
As mentioned earlier, the only thing that sets the DJI Mini 4K apart from the Mini 2 SE is its new 4K Ultra HD camera. Meanwhile, other onboard features are the same, including 10km video transmission , intelligent flight modes, 31-minute flight time, and Level 5 wind resistance. There's also the various QuickShots recording functions such as Dronie, Rocket, Circle, Helix, Boomerang, and Panorama.
