Mark ‘Bomber’ Thompson has not been seen in the footy world in nearly a decade.

The coaching great, who also took the reigns at Essendon during James Hird’s 12-month ban in 2014 and captained the Bombers during his playing days, will return to the AFL spotlight for the first time in almost 10 years.
