Ranaka said the podcast idea dawned to her when she was hospitalised, after opening up about her depression battle on her Instagram page. She said during that time, she had a high sex drive, and she found that to be interesting.
Radio and TV personality, Dineo Ranaka, has landed a new job at the forever growing Podcast and Chill Network owned by MacGyver “MacG” Mukwevho.
“I would have expected the stress and scrutiny I was under to throw it [the sex drive] off, but it was relentless. Originally, I had named it [the podcast] Pleasure Society, but as with any idea it then landed on Dineo on Sex n’ Stuff. As I started conducting research on these raging hormones of mine, I learnt that there’s an interesting link between mental and sexual health matters. Two of the most stigmatised topics became a safe haven for healing for me,” said Ranaka.
