The Parañaque City government was recognized by the Department of the Interior and Local Government-National Capital Region (DILG-NCR) as one of the top performing government units in Metro Manila in the 2022 fisheries compliance audit validation (FishCA)
According to DILG-NCR, the FishCA validation team conducted a review on the compliance of the city government through a monitoring tool on fisheries management on April 2023.
Mayor Eric Olivarez was happy with the result of the review conducted by the validation team after the city government got a score of 49 out of 50, equivalent to a grade of 89.09 percent.
