California lottery prizes vary depending on ticket sales and number of winners. They differ from the fixed second prizes offered in other participating states. Each ticket matched five numbers, but not the Powerball.
In New Jersey, a pair of third-prize tickets matching four numbers plus the Powerball were purchased. Both were bought with the Power Play option for an extra $1 are worth $100,000 each. One was sold at Wawa on West Rio Grande Avenue in Wildwood, the other at B2 Liquors on Summer Avenue in Newark.
