Did Hopper Really Die on 'Stranger Things' Season 3
First look teasers and the trailer for the show's upcoming season officially confirmed that Hopper is alive and is being imprisoned in Russia after committing the ultimate sacrifice for Joyce and the kids. Now that we're only days away from tuning into our faveplayers, let's look back on one of the show's biggest storylines and see how things play out for Hopper in Stranger Things season 4.

Soviet scientists planted a portal into the upside-down underneath the mall's food court.Hopper and Joyce Byers, Will's mom, placed a bomb near the machine to close the portal once and for all.
The first teaser trailer for season 4, titled "From Russia with love," shows prisoners at a snowy Russian camp with barking dogs and armed guards before confirming that Hopper is indeed alive. Yay!Season 4 of Netflix starts with a bang. While the teens adjust to their new lives in and outside of Hawkins, Joyce adapts to a new city and job when she receives a suspicious package. She calls up Murray Bauman to discuss the porcelain doll she believes came from Russia.
