The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is surrounding the Gregory Cove Apartments in the University Park area following reports of gunfire in an apartment on the second floor.
WOKV spoke with the mother of a resident who says that police evacuated one of the buildings around 3:00 am. Police are not commenting on the circumstances.
One resident’s mother says that neighbors have complained to management for months about a tenant.
