• La Hyundai Veloster 2012-2013 est visée par l’un des deux rappels.Au cours des derniers jours, Hyundai a lancé deux campagnes de rappels. L’une d’elles concerne un seul modèle, la Veloster qui est disparue de la gamme Hyundai. L’autre touche une panoplie de véhicules.
Dans ce cas, 26 169 unités construites entre 2012 et 2013 sont visées. La raison ? Les capteurs d’aide au stationnement arrière, qui sont montés sur le pare-chocs arrière, pourraient subir un court-circuit, ce qui augmente le risque d’incendie.
Bien qu’aucun accident ou blessure n’ait été signalé, Hyundai a reçu cinq rapports d’incendies liés à ce problème, selon Consumer Reports. Le problème touche les freins. Transports Canada décrit la problématique de la façon suivante. « Au fil du temps, les conduites de frein sous le véhicule pourraient se corroder. Si cela se produisait, une conduite de frein pourrait se briser et fuir. Une fuite de liquide de frein pourrait entraîner une diminution de la force de freinage. »
