Destiny 2 has broken Wish-Ender, in a good way. Use it before it gets fixed.
with yet another unintended “adjustment” to the game, once again, something that works in players’ favor. This one is so severe that I’m guessing it’s going to get hotfixed pretty soon, and don’t pretend like Bungie doesn’t already know about it and that I’m “snitching” by writing this. I just want people to have fun with this while they can!
What I’m talking about is some sort of glitch with the exotic bow Wish-Ender, the Dreaming City dungeon reward that has a perk called “Broadhead” which normally damages enemies twice, once on entry, once on exit. It’s good, though Wish-Ender has rarely been a top tier exotic choice.Something has…broken Wish-Ender. What’s happening now is that Broadhead isn’t just damaging enemies twice, it’s damaging them three, four, even five times per shot.
In short, Wish-Ender absolutely destroys now. You can one shot pretty much any shielded red bar enemy or armored orange bars. Normal, non-boss yellow bars you can two-shot. Champions like Colossi you can solo in maybe 3-4 shots. It’s absolutely insane.Why do I think this is a glitch and not just Bungie stealth buffing an underused bow? First, because of the sheer power of it. Trust me, once you use it, you can see that this is not intentional.
I have been shredding with this thing ever since I discovered this, finding it especially useful in The Sundial for champions and bosses alike. I have no idea how long this is going to last, as it doesn’t seemas urgent a fix as the dynamo issue that was giving people supers almost instantly, then again, I have not tried this in PvP yet, which in theory, feels like it should be a place where if this bug is still in place, it could…just one shot everyone? I need to go check on this.
