A surprising crossover between Destiny 2 and Assassin's Creed Valhalla will add cosmetic items to each game inspired by the other. Both titles have distinct settings and gameplay, with Bungie's sci-fi RPG shooter taking players across the reaches of space while Ubisoft's open-world action game immerses fans in the historic Viking Age. Destiny 2 and Assassin's Creed Valhalla have little in common aesthetically, but that hasn't stopped a crossover from joining the two games.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY As detailed by Ubisoft , an unexpected crossover between Destiny 2 and Assassin's Creed Valhalla will hit both games on December 6. A new themed character pack will add futuristic armor sets to Assassin's Creed Valhalla alongside unique swords, a sci-fi scout skin and a Destiny 2 mount skin. A new weapon pack containing four distinct weapons with unique perks will also pay homage to Destiny 2's four Guardian subclasses.
A crossover between Destiny 2 and Assassin's Creed Valhalla is surprising, since the two games have such different settings, but neither game has been a stranger to crossovers in the past. For example, both titles have previously collaborated with the beloved battle royale shooter Fortnite.
The worlds of Destiny 2 and Assassin's Creed Valhalla are like night and day, but an unexpected crossover will soon collide the futuristic sci-fi title with the historic Viking Age. Destiny 2 will receive various cosmetics inspired by the Assassin Brotherhood, while Assassin's Creed Valhalla will add armor sets and weapons that turn Eivor into a Guardian.
