Despite BN’s big Tg Piai win, GPS parties not keen to rejoin

GABUNGAN Parti Sarawak components have no intention of rejoining Barisan Nasional despite the former ruling coalition’s massive win in the Tanjung Piai by-election yesterday. Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu vice-president Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said the decision of four state-based parties, including his, to leave BN and set up GPS after the 14th general election last year was a wise one.
