THE Department of Education said that it will give a P3,000 bonus to all of its personnel, including teachers, as part of its 125th anniversary celebration.
It also issued guidelines for the provision of anniversary bonuses for every milestone year, which happens every fifth year.The bonus will not be given earlier than June 23 of the milestone year.Under DepEd Order 11 series of 2023 signed by Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte, all eligible personnel will receive an anniversary bonus of P3,000 provided that they have rendered at least one year of service.
Ineligible for the anniversary bonus are those who are absent without official leave or no longer in service as of June 23 of the milestone year; officials and employees found guilty of any offense in connection with their work during the five-year interval between the milestone years; and consultants, contracts of service, or job-order employees.
