DepED was led by Undersecretary for Legislative Affairs and Partnerships Gerard L. Chan. The Philippine Education Department presented the Basic Education Development Plan 2030, the K-12 Basic Education Program, and TESDA’s “Tulong-Trabaho” Program further to “illustrate the future of education” in the country.
Other panel members were representatives from Southeast Asia, which includes education learners from Ministries of Education in Cambodia, Malaysia, and Vietnam, with a moderator from Microsoft. Cambodia shared how they worked on integrating climate change into curriculum and technology while Malaysia is working on integrating Digital Citizenship and Global Citizenship Education .
