Northwest Golden saw the most snow in the Denver area, with 11.3 inches recorded by 12:50 a.m. near North Table Mountain. Northwestern Arvada also saw double digit snow totals, with 10.9 inches recorded by 5:51 a.m. near Standley Lake.
Elsewhere in the metro, Denver received about two inches of snow by 11:59 p.m., Westminster received four inches by 8 p.m. and Boulder received 3.3 to 9.7 inches by 4:55 a.m. Friday morning, National Weather Service radar shows a swath of light snow continuing eastward across the Denver and Boulder areas. Light snow would continue in the area before gradually waning away to flurries by 8 a.m.Into the evening and night, temperatures will drop down to single-digit lows near 8 degrees.
