Elsewhere around Colorado on Thursday, temperatures will reach the 50s across the high country, 60s are expected on the Western Slope, and lower 80s are likely in southeast Colorado. The fire danger will move farther north and west on Friday with continued warm and dry conditions. A Fire Weather Watch has already been posted for the I-70 corridor east of the metro area and the I-25 corridor south of Lone Tree. This watch will likely become a Red Flag Warning for the high fire danger on Friday.
