It hit 90 degrees in the city at 12:16 p.m., said Ayesha Wilkinson, a NWS meteorologist, before climbing to 91 degrees. Tuesday’s mark is the 10th 90-degree, or above, reading this month. Past years with nine days of 90, or above, temperature readings in Denver in September were 1895, 2005, 2017 and 2018.Seasonally, starting Jan. 1, Denver is in third place historically with 67 days this year with 90-degree, or above, temperatures, Wilkinson said.
