Children learning about dental healthcare at the Church of the Holy Family, Kajang, September 4, 2022The Church of the Holy Family’s Parish Integral Human Development Ministry organised a Dental Healthcare event at the parish hall on September 4. Over 100 registered parishioners received a complete dental check-up while an additional 60 walked in to view the exhibition and attended a talk on oral health.
“Since our last blood donation drive and health care check-up project was in 2019, I thought it was a great opportunity. We set up a core team of 12 representatives from the seven subcommittees under PIHDM and began planning the event. It was great to have the subcommittees working together on a parish-level project. We also worked with the PCC and audio video ministry,” said Sarves.
