White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Sunday blamed Democrats for President Donald Trump’s threat to release detained undocumented immigrants in sanctuary cities for retribution against his political opponents.
Trump revived the idea Friday tweeting that he is “giving strong considerations to placing Illegal Immigrants in Sanctuary Cities only.”
