Congressional Democrats condemn a federal judge's decision to suspend the FDA’s longtime approval of abortion pill mifepristone.
The pills have become increasingly significant in the fight over abortion access since Roe v. Wade was overturned last June.
The group had sued the federal government challenging the part of the Affordable Care Act that required employers to provide free insurance coverage for birth control. Abortion rights adovcates protest in front of the J Marvin Jones Federal Building and Courthouse in Amarillo, Texas, on Mar. 15.Sen.
