Democrats renew push for a financial-transactions tax, part of progressives’ preparation for the 2020 campaigns
WASHINGTON—Progressive Democrats renewed their push to curb high-frequency trading, introducing a bill Tuesday that would impose a 0.1% tax on financial transactions such as stock purchases and derivatives trades.
