announced its entry into the ride-hailing scene in Malaysia, but it wasn’t the only company to do so, because a name associated with delivery services also signaled that it was entering the fray.
In posts made last week on its social media platforms, delivery platform Lalamove announced that it had begun a ride-hailing service called Lalamove Ride. According to the company, Lalamove Ride is available 24/7, with the service offering professional drivers and promising affordable and transparent pricing. The service is accessible via its Lalamove app, and users can access the service by tapping on the new Ride tab on the app.
The interface isn’t as comprehensively detailed as its competitors, as a check on the app showed, but expect it to evolve as it progresses. While it remains to be seen how big a driver and user base the service will eventually have, having another player is a good thing for ride-mobility users when it comes to more competitive fare rates.Anthony Lim believes that nothing is better than a good smoke and a car with character, with good handling aspects being top of the prize heap.
