Scrapped Black Adam Post-Credit Scene Teased Doctor Fate’s DCU Future
, Pierce Brosnan’s Doctor Fate seemingly sacrifices himself late in the movie to save Hawkman and help Black Adam escape from an underwater holding facility. At the end of the film, Doctor Fate’s helmet disintegrates, leaving it open-ended as to whether or not the mask has gone on to find another to wield it, or if Brosnan had somehow survived.was set to have a second post-credits scene — one that was filmed and prepped for the movie.
With a new Doctor Fate potentially set to debut in the future, it’s likely that DC simply wanted to remind fans that the helmet was still out in the world, although this idea seemed to have been scrapped in the final release of the film.
