The senator said that he will stick to his advocacy of fighting drugs and criminality.
“‘Yung strength ko is nandito sa law and order, people voted me for that. Hindi nila ako binoto dahil magaling ako sa siyensya, magaling ako sa agrikultura,” he answered.“Alangan namang magyabang ako, ‘dito ako sa ekonomiya, pagandahin ko ‘yung ekonomiya ng Pilipinas.’ Wala naman akong alam diyan. Kung may alam ako, konti lang,” he said.
“Sabihin ko, ‘pagandahin ko ‘yung health ng Pilipinas.’ Hindi naman ako doktor. Ano alam ko sa health? Ang alam ko lang sa health ay bumili sa botika ng gamot,” he added.Dela Rosa was the former Philippine National Police chief prior to joining the Senate in 2019.
