Extraction 2 features a number of impressive, bone-crunching action sequences, but one strange and somewhat illogical moment has fans up in arms. After the success of the original 2020 film, director Sam Hargrave and star Chris Hemsworth return in Netflix's Extraction 2, which hit the streamer last week. The film has largely been hailed as an improvement over the original, with one 21-minute "oner" sequence garnering particular praise.
Although the Extraction 2 reviews have been generally positive, one moment during its breathtaking train action sequence has fans on Twitter poking fun at the sequel. The moment, as shared by mnrrntt on Twitter, features Hemsworth's Tyler Rake taking cover from a hail of bullets from a trailing helicopter, and he hides behind a very see-through ladder.

While one's mileage may vary on how ridiculous is too ridiculous, the real appeal of the franchise remains its well-executed action sequences.
While the silliness of Hemsworth taking cover behind a ladder probably could've been fixed just adding a more solid item in front of him, it's ultimately only one small stumble during a frankly jaw-dropping 21-minute sequence designed to look as if it's all one shot. That's not to mention that real helicopters and a real train were used during filming instead of an over-reliance on CGI.
