Three members of a notorious criminal gang confessed to stealing priceless 18th-century jewels from a German state museum at their trial.

The judges proposed prison time ranging from four years and nine months to six years and nine months as part of the arrangement with the attorneys that led to some of the stolen valuables being recovered from a river in mid-December.
