Defence says Mahdzir received money from ‘cronies’ to pass solar hybrid project

FORMR education minister Mahdzir Khalid today denied allegations that Jepak Holdings Sdn Bhd managing director Saidi Abang Samsudin and partner Rayyan Radzwill Abdullah were his cronies. Mahdzir, who was being cross-examined by defence lawyer Jagjit Singh, was asked if he had spoken to then prime minister Najib Razak or his wife Rosmah Mansor about Rayyan.
