Capt. Ramillo Serame, municipal police chief, said the head of the family, identified as Sadam Mamasainged, and his three-year-old child, died at the hospital on Tuesday night, March 28.
The eight-month-old girl of the Mamasainged family earlier succumbed to death after being fatally hit by bullets from a still unidentified group who carried out the attack. Serame said Mamasainged and his family were heading home on a tricycle from Ramadan evening prayers when they were ambushed in Sitio Bagurot, Barangay Tuayan Mother, at past 7 p.m.Police found empty shells for M16 and M14 Armalite rifles at the ambush site.
Datu Hoffer Mayor Bai Ampatuan condemned the attack and directed the police to identify and arrest the perpetrators.related stories
