Death of student, 9, outside Jacinto City home prompts lawsuit

A private van hit Isaac Villafranca after he exited it and crossed in front of the vehicle, causing him to leave the driver’s line of vision, officials said.
Quintanilla rushed to help her son and held him in the street in front of their home as he died, according to the lawsuit.
