Israeli-American pitcher Dean Kremer will make his first career playoff start for Baltimore on Tuesday night in Game 3 of the ALDS against Texas.
Kremer said Monday that he has no hesitation about pitching Game 3 of the American League Division Series against the"I still want to pitch, but, I mean, it's going to be in the back of my head," Kremer said.
Dean Kremer, who is the son of Israeli parents and has dual Israeli-American citizenship, said he has no hesitation about pitching for the Orioles on Tuesday in the ALDS but that he will be thinking about his family members in Israel. Though he was born and raised in Stockton, California, Kremer is the son of Israeli parents and identifies strongly as Israeli himself. He spends time each year in the Jewish state and is fluent in Hebrew.
