A pedestrian was hit and killed on southbound Interstate 5 in Fife early Monday.
FIFE, Wash. — Southbound Interstate 5 is closed after a person was killed on the freeway early Monday.
A pedestrian was struck several times by multiple cars near 54th Avenue East in Fife at around 2:40 a.m.Washington State Patrol troopers are investigating and a crew from the Washington State Department of Transportation has blocked all southbound lanes.The circumstances of why the pedestrian was on the freeway are not yet known.
Breaking: All lanes of I-5 SB CLOSED after a person was hit & killed on the interstate. Scene is large, as the person was hit several times by multiple cars. Unknown how long all lanes will be closed this AM.
