DBP approves P152-M loan for Batangas modern jeeps.

The Development Bank of the Philippines granted P152.1-million credit assistance to a Batangas-based transport cooperative for the acquisition of 85 modern Public Utility Jeepney units, to promote sustainable transport system in the province, the 7th most populous in the country.

PASADA is DBP’s flagship program to modernize the country’s transport system, financing energy-efficient vehicles and support facilities to transport corporations and cooperatives. Now, the program will fund the first batch of modernized public utility vehicles to be deployed in six Batangas towns. BATRASCO is a duly registered cooperative with more than 2,000 members, most of whom are based in Batangas.
